HYROX is a global indoor fitness race that combines 8 × 1 km of running with 8 functional workout stations performed in a fixed order. It is designed for everyday athletes, with standardized weights and distances worldwide so results are directly comparable.

HYROX was founded in 2017 in Germany and has become the world's largest hybrid fitness race, with events in over 25 countries. Every race follows the same format: 1 km run → 1 station → repeat 8 times. The eight stations are SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls. Categories include Open (individual), Pro (heavier loads), Doubles and Relay.
