    HYROX Strength Training

How important is strength in HYROX?

Strength is essential for HYROX: sled push, sled pull, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls all rely on it. HyroxPlanning integrates strength progression into every program to support race-day performance.

    In depth

HYROX rewards strength-endurance more than maximal strength. Lower-body power, posterior chain and grip endurance are the highest-leverage qualities. HyroxPlanning periodizes them across the plan.

    Key components

    • Lower body power

      Squats, deadlifts, lunges.

    • Grip endurance

      Carries and pull patterns.

    • Core stability

Anti-rotation and bracing for sled work.
